firmware update

Arkady Savikovsky Oct 20, 2014 05:00PM UTC

I have the Radio Thermostat CT80 for 1.5 years. When the wifi router is not available, for example because of power outage, my thermostat CT80 looses wifi connection and it does not restore it automatically later, when the router works fine. The thermostat reset button does not help to resolve this. The only thing that helps is to unplug and plug back the thermostat power (24v AC).
It is extremely inconvenient!!
My thermostat firmware version is 1.04.84. Is there an update that helps to resolve the problem?
How can I update the firmware if there is a newer version available?
Does the CT80 have some kind of internal battery that needed to be replaced? (Nothing in the manual about that...)
Another question: Can you recommend a cloud web service that can work with the CT80 providing real time operation monitoring, all thermostat settings, and advanced functions like AC control by humidity level and others? Apparently the site https://my.radiothermostat.com/filtrete does not offer anything like that.

Hi,

Do you have a CT80A orCT80B?
The firmware version of 1.04.84 is for the WiFi module and that is the current version.
It depends on the version of CT80 if it has a battery or not.

We look froward to hearing from you.
