Just recently purchased a CT-110 and it is using a lot power. Been install for a week and it has already used 20% of the batteries! This seems a little excessive I think there is something defective with my unit or is there some way to fix this problem?

Do you have a C wire installed?

It sounds like it was joined with a C wire installed or it thinks it was joined that way.

So what I would do is to remove the thermostat from the zwave controller.

Verify it is removed by looking at the main scree and verifying that the word link is no longer there.

Make sure there is no C wire on the thermostat – change the batteries and then rejoin the thermostat to the controller and see if that fixes the issue.

Please let us know if you are still experiencing an issue.
